Assalamualaikum and Hye to every one..!!!
On 27th October 2013, I'm attending the convocation for a Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) which is held at Auditorium Dewan Jubli Perak, SUK Selangor. The convocation has divided into two session. Morning Session and Evening Session. Through my observation, almost 500 guest attending to the convocation to celebrate their relative's convocation. This ceremony begins with a registration of the graduate at 7.30 to 8.00 am. At 8.30, all the guests and parents began to go into the auditorium and took a seat available. Then exactly 9.00 am, the VIP's coming into the auditorium. The VIP was Y.Bhg. Datuk Dr. Phang Chau Leong, Director General of the Department of Skills Development.
The main purpose of this event is to celebrate the graduates and also award them with diplomas and certificate. There are four types of the graduate which are for the VTO, DLPV, SKM+VTO and DKM. VTO stands for Vocational Training Officer, DLPV is Diploma Lanjutan Pengajar Vokasional, SKM+VTO is Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia + Sijil Tenaga Pengajar and DKM is for Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia.
