Perwira
Residential College had organized Cross Country 2nd Edition event on 27th
October 2013. This event are compulsory for all student who stay at Perwira
Residential College. The registration for this event started at 7.30 a.m. and
all student provided with bread and mineral water as their breakfast. For this semester, the principal of Perwira
Residential College had introduced 4 team called as Scarlet, Aerolin, Harlequin,
and Azure. Every student have their own team.
The
principal of Perwira Residential College, Dr Afandi Bin Ahmad had finish the opening of this event in front of Block A of the residential college.
Before start running, all the participant had warm-up and stretching their body
to avoid spasm. All participants started running at 9:00 am started by male
student and followed by female student. The distance of this cross country
around 10km from Perwira Residential College.
Around
10.30 am all the participants had finished their running. The first 20
participant that finished their running had received medal and hamper. Beside
that, each of attendance will give 1 point to their team. For the overall
result, the winner is Scarlet team.

Me :
With me now, one of the participant of cross country event. Can you
introduce yourself?
Shafie : My
name is Mohd Shafie bin Nemmang, from Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Me :
Have you ever joined cross country before this?
Shafie : This
is my first time joined this event.
Me :
I can see, you got a medal. Can you share your experience?
Shafie :
Actually, I’m not expected to win, just want to run. My experience while
running, little bit tired and I got no 11th.
Me :
Ok, lastly. From you opinion, are you agree that this kind of event are
good for the future or not?
Shafie : For
me, this kind of event are good and can build a spirit of friendship among
students in Perwira.
